If you would like to come and meet the C&SC team – and see its classics – there are a couple of prime opportunities in October.
On Saturday 8 October, west Berkshire will once again play host to the annual Thatcham Classic car show. The show, supported by Classic & Sports Car and organised by the magazine's art editor Martin Port, will attempt to build upon the 220 vehicles in attendance last year. Classics permitting, at least five of the C&SC team plan to be on site with their cars.
Any classic or custom vehicle, including motorbikes and commercials, is welcome and entry is completely free for exhibitors and visitors alike. Charitable donations will be accepted on the day and all money collected will go to Cancer Research. The show will run from 10am until 3pm – there is no need to book, simply turn up on the day although clubs wishing to pitch stands or park large groups together are advised to arrive slightly earlier.
The editorial team will also be out at C&SC’s first official track day, which will be held at Brands Hatch on 18 October.
The event, being run in partnership with Focused Events, takes place on the Indy Circuit and costs £335 all-in (including meals and photography), but for full details click here.
