New feature for Beaulieu's Spring Autojumble

| 11 Mar 2012

There will be a new feature at Beaulieu's 19th Spring Autojumble, which takes place in the heart of the New Forest, Hampshire on 19-20 May.

Called the Walkabout Auction, it is a premium-free last chance to buy and sell that happens towards the end of the two-day event.

For £1, exhibitors can buy a box to fill with bits (larger items can go alongside), to be sold at the end of the Sunday afternoon by a guest auctioneer from Bonhams.

As well as the lure of the Autojumble itself, there will be up to 200 vehicles for sale in the MotorMart, plus more on offer in the DealerMart.

A MotorMarque feature – which marks a significant anniversary in the history of a model that went on to become a legend – will celebrate 50 years of the Austin 750 Club. The club held its inaugural rally at Beaulieu in 1962 and has been attending every year since.

Sunday's highlights include Old Sodbury’s Land Rover Sortout , selling Land-Rover parts and accessories, and Trunk Traders, with amateur autojumblers selling surplus car bits from the back of their vehicles.

On-the-day entry costs £9.50 for adults and £7.20 for children (less if booked in advance) on the ticket hotline: 01590 612888, or online at www.beaulieushop.co.ukAdmission includes access to the National Motor Museum and the World of Top Gear and Bond in Motion exhibits.

Prices for the 1000 autojumble stand spaces start at £63, £40 for MotorMart spaces and £37.50 for Trunk Trader (Sunday only). Contact the Events Department on 01590 614614 or e-mail events@beaulieu.co.uk
