| 26 Mar 2013

The BMC and Leyland Show will celebrate cars built by the British Motor Corporation, British Leyland and the Rover Group at the Heritage Motor Centre on 7 July.

The show is expected to attract 800 models from manufacturers including Daimler, Alvis, Wolseley, Austin, Morris, Riley, Standard, MG and Land-Rover, along with commercial and military vehicles.

Gaydon will also bring out 12 vehicles from its reserve collection that would not usually be on display in the museum.

Incorporated into the day, the former Gaydon Mini Show will feature a Show ’n’ Shine competition with £250 going to the winner.

Event organiser Tom Caren said: “The show will not only celebrate the iconic Mini but other fantastic British marques.

The day has something for everyone and will be certain to evoke plenty of memories!”

Advance tickets cost £6 for the driver of a registered show vehicle and £8 per person for any additional passengers.
