Prince Charles’ Aston Martin will head this year’s Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance as the event celebrates the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee on 7-9 September.
The 1969 DB6 Volante was the car used to transport the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to their wedding reception.
More than 60 cars will be at the event, with almost 20 classics expected to travel from America.
On Saturday, the Best of British tour will be on show with marques such as Lotus, Jaguar and Rolls-Royce expected to attend.
They will be joined by a further 60 cars – one for each year of the Queen’s reign – from the Aston Martin Owners’ Club, including models such as the DB4GT Zagato and the firm’s new supercar – the One-77.
An extra feature will be the ‘Classic and Modern’ display, which will showcase new and old models alike from McLaren, Bentley, Jaguar and Land-Rover.
Also exhibited will be rare horse-drawn carriages and a selection of classic Royal cars.
