School’s in for Tewkesbury show

| 17 Aug 2012

More than 400 cars and 100-plus motorbikes are expected for the Tewkesbury Car and Bike Rally this Sunday, 19 August, at Tewkesbury School Sports Field from 10am-5pm.

The local Rotary Club, which is organising the event, says that the event is bigger and better than ever, with more than 50 stalls selling everything from clothing, sweets and cakes, to jewellery and bric-a-brac, as well as autojumble of course. Last year’s event drew a fine selection of vintage machinery, plus all sorts of younger sports cars and saloons.

Drivers of display cars and ’bikes, plus under 16, have free entrance and you don’t need to pre-book – just turn up. Entrance is only £5 – with all proceeds to Rotary charities – and there’s ample free parking on site.
