Stunning classics head to Lancashire

| 31 Aug 2012

More than 300 classics will make their way to the 28th Lancashire Classic Car Show on 9 September at Hoghton Tower near Preston.

The event had to be rescheduled due to poor weather, but the organiser still expects good turnouts from Singer, Jaguar, Morris, Riley, Rover and Humber, plus Youngtimers from MG, Porsche, TVR and Mercedes.

Cars competing for awards in the conours will be displayed according to their date of manufacture, and there will be a live commentary running all day.

Clubs, including the Liverpool and Cheshire Capri Club, the Stag OC, the Cheshire Classics OC and the Merseyside MG Club, will all be out in force.

Admission is £6.50 for adults and £2.50 for children (7-14 years), with under-7s going free.
