Thrilling motor sport promised at Brooklands

| 24 Sep 2012

Two F1 cars will scream into life as Brooklands and Mercedes-Benz World host this year’s Autumn Motor Sport Festival on 14 October.

Heading up a pair of Benettons on the M-B World track is the B193 racer that was driven by Michael Schumacher and Riccardo Patrese in ’93. Meanwhile, the B190 that powered Nelson Piquet to victory at Suzuka and Adelaide, in 1990, will also make an appearance.

Legendary Group B rally machines, FIA Touring and GT cars, plus F5000 racers will join the Formula 1 stars. Brookland’s famous test track will also be in action during the day.

Eligible competition-car owners receive free entry to the event and can contact organisers on 0845 463 1246, or here.

The event will also mark the return of Italian Car Day, with displays of Latin metal covering everything from Ferrari to Fiat.

The event opens at 9:30am to find out more, click here.
