Club Lotus Show's Malvern debut

| 13 Jul 2010

More than 5000 visitors made the first Club Lotus Show at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern on 17-18 April a resounding success.
Highlights included a remarkable collection of Lotus MkVIs: 10 on Saturday and 14 on Sunday. The event was once again supported by Clive Chapman and his Classic Team Lotus crew, who brought a JPS 72 and 91, plus lots of memorabilia including a 72 nosecone which was up for sale at £3000.
Olav Glassus' wonderfully original 19 made its post-restoration debut. Glassus found and refurbished the '64 car that Rod Coweth raced in the mid-'60s and which was then retired to a museum for 30 years.
