Liverpool's Strand rocked to a thunderous display of speed and power on 25 May for its inaugural Pageant of Power.
Created to preview this year's Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (which takes place in Cheshire this 17-18 July), the event saw everything from a Le Mans Jaguar to the aero-engined Napier-Bentley and a Warrior tank.
Historic racer Justin Law powered the Silk Cut Jaguar XJR-8/9 around the harbour, along with 12-time TT-winner Charlie Williams on his Maxton Yamaha TZ385.
Event sponsor Bentley brought its Le Mans-winning Speed 8, while a Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari Enzo also wowed the 25,000-strong crowd.
There were also aerobatic and powerboat displays, and a dancing JCB digger!
