Ferrari parade set to smash world record

| 5 Aug 2012

More than 1000 Ferraris have already registered to take part in a parade at Silverstone meaning they will destroy the current world record for the marque.

As previously reported, the record bid is set to take place on 15 September during the Ferrari Racing Days meeting at the Northamptonshire GP circuit.

The attempt is backed by Ferrari North Europe, which originally established the record by organising a parade of 385 cars at Silverstone in 2007 before the benchmark was upped to 490 cars elsewhere.

Over 600 cars registered in the first month after the attempt was announced and registrations are still open if you are an owner and want to join them.

Ferrari will be donating £5 for every car entered in the world record attempt to BEN, the automotive industry’s own charity
