Heritage Vauxhalls head to Hampshire

| 21 Aug 2012

Vauxhall’s C10 Prince Henry will be on show on the C&SC stand this weekend at CarFest.

Built in 1910, the C10 was one of the world’s first sports cars and is making its return to the road after an extensive engine rebuild. It also recently starred in the Steven Spielberg film War Horse.

The British machine is just one of the sports cars on show at our stand.

The BRSCC hillclimb, which will form the backbone of the event, will also play host to a Vauxhall – the 1926 OE-type 30-98 Velox

Tourer. It was Britain’s first 100mph production car and vied with marques such as Bentley in competition.

Meanwhile, Vauxhall’s modern souped-up ’ute – the VXR Maloo – will serve time as a fast support vehicle.
