It's McQueen, but not as we know it

This life-size replica of Pixar’s Cars superstar, Lightning McQueen is the work of model-maker Jay Sheppard, who piled a mammoth 5554 cars together in just 100 hours.

Sheppard created the sculpture to promote the release of the Cars film sequel, Cars 2 but before you challenge your youngster to do the same, you might want to think of the potential damage to your wallet and the living space you’ll be left with.

If stacked one on top of another, the pile of 1:43 models would be three times the height of Big Ben or, if the miniature Lightning McQueens were parked nose to tail, the line would be longer than five football pitches!
