King of the 'Ring extends his operation to Spa

Ron Simons' RSR outfit, already a popular fixture at the Nürburgring, has extended its operations to Spa.

RSR will now be Spa's authorised track school, supplying driver training, car hire and track days at the famous Belgian circuit.

Ron Simons Racing has been operating at the Nürburgring for more than a decade and now offers everything from driver training, instruction, track car rentals and corporate events to tours and rallies, plus a fleet of some 60 performance cars.

Now all the same facilities will be on offer just over an hour away at Spa-Francorchamps.

Pierre Alain Thibaut, general managing director at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, said: "The goal is to extend the number of available driving sessions for the recreational and non-racing customer. This will result in the track being available for this for a few days a week throughout the season."

Ron Simons added: "Drawing on the knowledge and expertise that we have built up at the 'Ring we will be able to tailor-make new programmes for Spa. The excellent facilities at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps are within easy reach, just over an hour's drive away along some fantastic roads through the beautiful Eifel and Ardennes countryside.”

And about time too. I've been to Spa with RSR in both their Exige S and the 2Eleven as part of their experience, so having the rental service on site is most welcome. Great news!

Oh yeah!!!! Bring it on!! I am doing this experience next month at both the Nurburgring and Spa!! Looking forward to it!
