MG owners attempt to set new world record

| 24 Mar 2015

The MG Owners' Club has teamed up with Lancaster Insurance to attempt to set a new world record for the largest number of MGs to take part in a parade.

The record-breaking attempt will take place on the Rockingham Circuit's Oval Track – the UK's only banked oval – on 11 April, with the target set at 100 cars on track at one time.

Richard Morely from Lancaster Insurance said: "We're proud of our long-standing partnership with the MGOC and setting a brand-new Guinness World Records title with the help of MG owners is exciting for us. We hope that MG owners will embrace this opportunity by coming down on the day and taking part in a piece of history in the making while enjoying a great day's racing. "

If you own an MG and would like to take part in the record attempt, you can sign up by clicking here before 30 March. But hurry – places are limited!
