Renault launches heritage website

| 8 Oct 2012

A new website – renaultclassic.com – is being touted as the ideal way for worldwide fans of Renault and Alpine to share information.

Launched last week, the resource will provide the several hundred clubs across the globe with a calendar of events to be attended by the French firm’s heritage wing.

Also online is a complete history of the marque, with a timeline focusing on pioneering cars, covering everything from the Type A of the 1890s, through to the Juvaquatre of the 30s, the land speed record-breaking Étoile Filante of the 50s and the A110 of the 70s.

In addition, the Tools and Services section offers downloadable documents (with titles such as “30 Years of Formula 1”) and free high-definition pictures.
