A select band of Triumph Stag enthusiasts known as the Knight Hawks will provide an emergency service for fellow club members in the UK and Europe.
The scheme, which ran in the past before falling into decline, will offer knowledge, experience, parts, tools or just warm flasks of tea to comrades caught out in the field.
Knight Hawks register their services on the club’s database and their contact details are added to a printable PDF.
Members travelling in uncharted territory can keep a copy on hand and contact the service if and when the need arises.
Stag Owners’ Club member Derek Athey said: “We are not introducing ourselves as a competitor to the AA, RAC or even Green Flag, but we are providing a helping-hand service to Stag owners when venturing outside of their normal locations.”
