Tarantino’s stolen Chevy recovered after 19 years

Los Angeles Police have recovered a ’65 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu that was driven by John Travolta in Pulp Fiction before being stolen from the film’s set in 1994.

Aside from having its VIN number changed, the convertible is said to be in rude health after its near two-decade disappearance, having been treated to a $20,000 restoration by its unsuspecting keeper - who is apparently covered for the loss by his insurance.

The car, which has fresh paint, a new interior and refreshed chromework, will be returned to Tarantino in the next few weeks.
