A star-studded entry list featured Nelson Piquet, Roberto Moreno and Wilson Fittipaldi on last month’s Brazilian 1000 Miles Historic Rally.

Drivers took part in cars including a Jaguar E-type, Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 and Porsche 911, from 1919 right up to 1980. Meanwhile, teams from South America and Europe were attracted to the event.

The five days of competition were organised by the MG Car Club of Brazil, beginning and ending in the city of São Paulo, covering the states of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.

The regularity rally was won by Gilbert and Raquel Landsberg driving a Mk2 Jaguar.
