Goodwood celebrates 50th anniversary of Ferrari’s 250LM

| 6 Feb 2013

Ferrari 250LMs will join a field of 250GTOs, AC Cobras, Jaguar E-types, Maserati Tipo 151s and Aston Martin DB4s for this year’s Blue Riband Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration race at the Goodwood Revival from 13-15 September.

The Maranello machine will join the grid for the first time in 13 years as it celebrates its half century.

The sports-prototype was the last Ferrari to win at Le Mans in ’65, in the hands of North American Racing Team drivers Jochen Rindt and Masten Gregory.

The Revival will also feature an all-Ford GT40 race as the mid-engined legend marks its 50th year.
