Tim Harvey will race his Sierra Cosworth for the first time in 20 years at the Silverstone Classic from 26-28 July.
The 1992 MSA British Touring Car Champion said: “It’s my actual Labatt-sponsored car from the 1989 and 1990 seasons, so to be reunited is just fantastic.
“The RS500 is probably my favourite touring car of all time and I certainly never thought I’d be racing it again.
“It must be the most original Cosworth Sierra out there, right down to the switches and stickers. I’m now really looking forward to the Silverstone Classic, it’s going to be very special.
The 560bhp monster will compete in the two Super Touring Car Trophy races, with Harvey driving in Saturday’s contest, while the Cossies’ owner Paul Smith will get behind the wheel for Sunday’s re-run.
Both races feature a huge line-up of machines from 1970-2000, covering the World, European and British Touring Car Championships, from Group 2, Group A and Super Touring generations.
Other former tin-top drivers set to compete at the event include three-time FIA World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx and Steve Soper, who was runner up in the 1983 British Touring Car Championship.
