Thousands of enthusiasts are expected to attend Spain’s Jarama Vintage Festival near Madrid on 8-9 June.

Owned by the Royal Automobile Club of Spain, the Jarama circuit hosted the Spanish Grand Prix for morethan 40 years.

Now it’s set to welcome of European Historic Formula 2 single-seaters and some of Hethel’s finest F1 machines courtesy of Classic Team Lotus.

Other racers confirmed for the event include Historic Endurance Series 1960s GTs, plus Porsche 911s and numerous other sports cars.

Motorcycles form a big part of the event, too, with the Blue Riband Copa de España single-cylinder machines, plus ’bikes from vintage motorcross and trials.

Meanwhile, the paddock will feature a market (selling everything from models to cars), a circus big top, club stands and a display of WW2 military hardware.
