The TVR Car Club has announced the Classic Marques Handicap Challenge that kicks off on 6 April at Lydden Hill.
The sprint and hillclimb series is open to rear-wheel-drive British sports cars from Aston Martin, Austin-Healey, Ginetta, Lotus (pre-1995), Marcos, MG, Morgan, Reliant, Sunbeam, Triumph and TVR.
Using a system that has been finetuned over 12 years in the TVRCC’s own championship, cars are allocated a handicap based on their power, weight and tyres. Winners of each event are chosen after the handicap has been applied to their course times.
The series offers nine sprints and nine hillclimbs at motor sport venues across the UK. To find out more visit the championships’ forum or contact Steve Cox via email or by calling 07710 393 601.
