Richard Plant saw off stiff competition to take victory in the Aero Racing Morgan Challenge in his 1969 Class B Morgan 4/4.
Plant’s battle with Sharlie Goddard, driving a Class C Plus 8, went right down to the wire with the man from Stafford taking the championship by four points at Snetterton in October.
Fitted with a Ford Duratec engine, Plant’s racer is taxed and MoTd and ownership is shared with fellow racer Chas Windridge.
