1998 Aston-Martin DB7 Volante (1998)
Introduced in 1993, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin’s first six-cylinder model since production of the DBS had finished in 1971. Designed by Ian Callum at the same time as he designed the coupe, the Volante looks elegant both hood up or down, much like the earlier Aston Martin drop head cars. Well received, it attracted new customers worldwide, with the traditional layout of the curvaceous two door coupé body, robust six-cylinder engine and a luxury interior. Power was supplied by an all-alloy, double overhead camshaft, supercharged, 24-valve, in-line six-cylinder engine which produced 335bhp at 5750rpm. The DB7 was undoubtedly the catalyst for the modern line of Aston Martin.
This fantastic original DB7 Volante is finished in an unusual and striking colour scheme of Ivory with a matching cream interior and beige hood. Showing a mere 43,000 miles recorded from new, this is a stylish and highly accessible way to enjoy Aston Martin motoring.
