re you ready for a high performance Jaguar E-Type that is ready for the track? We've got the perfect example: This 1963 Jaguar XKE offered for sale includes a 3.8 engine which was fully rebuilt, and includes new pistons, bearings, seals, timing chain, oil pump, water pump, and has had its head completely rebuilt, along with the valves, guides, keepers and seals. All machine work on the block and head was performed with the utmost of precision. A lightened flywheel was installed with a completely re-built 4.2 transmission, along with a brand new suspension. The Weber carburetors were also restored and rebuilt, along with the clutch and an all-new hydraulic system was added as well. The XKE's chassis and many other parts powder coated, under carriage fully rebuilt, new wire harness, gas tank restored and epoxy sealed, rebuilt high volume fuel pump, all electrical components, gauges, knobs, switches rebuilt, re-screened, all instruments rebuilt, replaced stone guards, new triplex windshield and headlight glass, new drip panels, new custom two inch stainless steel exhaust system with heat treated headers and rear end completely rebuilt with upgrades. Body & Interior: Body stripped to bare metal, metal finished and finished on rotisserie. We leaded in the weld marks on the fenders and removed the bumpers. Doors, bonnets and boot fit to body, epoxy sealed and painted, color sanded and buffed. We created a custom color combination for the paint and the interior. All, new rubber, seals, grommets and gaskets, trim and bright work replaced or re-plated, new leather seats using Series II seats without headrest upholstered in a Series I pattern along with carpet, vinyl panels, dash, headliner, etc. Beautiful aluminum panels on the dash, instruments and radio console. Performance Upgrades: Aluminum high output radiator with auxiliary fan and header tank, gear reduction starter, high output alternator, 3 Weber carburetors, machined linkage and throttle assembly in stainless steel with aluminum manifold, neoprene bushings, fully synchronized 4.2 transmission, balanced flywheel, Wilwood brakes and performance master cylinders and pedal assembly, vented disc, large calipers, adjustable shocks, solid steering mounts, solid engine mounts, Dunlop D-type wheels, rear brake bleeders, wide performance Pirelli P 4000 tires and Mallory electronic ignition. This is a fun E-type with mild upgrades to the look of the car and the feel of the drive and performance. It is a very unique color combination and the vehicle having no bumpers and D-type wheels adds to the overall presentation of this wonderful E-type.
