Description
We have a beautiful Maserati Indy 4700. Initially the Indy was intended as a counterpart to the Ghilbli and provides room for four passengers. In reality it replaced the Sebring and the first generation Quattroporte. This Indy was supplied from new in Milan, Italy and left the factory on the 21sy February 1972. On introduction in ’69 the Indy was only available with a 4.2 V8. This is one of the larger 4.7 V8’s introduced in 1970. Only 364 examples were produced. This Indy formed part of a Maserati collection, which always enjoyed excellent maintenance and servicing. Its current excellent condition is also as a result of a past restoration. The fine bodywork has good paintwork and body panel fittings. This Maserati has its original, matching numbers, V8. A rare V8 Maserati, one of 364 worldwide made, truly unique!
