A typical Swiss car would be ultimately the best way to describe this MG B. We imported this 1968 MG B from Switzerland because of its typical Swissness. What typifies a Swiss car? It is a carefully maintained car that has always been garaged. Our MG fits that description perfectly. The car is in a very neat condition. The paintwork is a little dull and is due a thorough polish. Both the bodywork and chassis are as sound as a bell without any rust at all. The interior trim could do with some attention. The leather has slightly dried out but exudes a fantastic patina and more than worth the effort of intensive treatment. A good deep leather grease application will add years to these seats. The old hood has got some signs of wear but shuts nicely and is practically completely watertight. Mechanically the MG B is in good order and is due a major service. In short this classic does not need much to give much joy during the nice weather.
