BACKGROUND
A 1978 production rubber bumper example, with just 1 owner from new and having travelled a warranted 71,450miles. A concise service history, including original bill of sale and even records of the Midget’s visits to the fuel station! Despite being MOT and tax exempt, a regular visit to the test centre can evidence the preventative maintenance that the previous owner has undertaken to ensure the Midget has always had a long life ahead
MECHANICAL
A recent full fluid service (engine oil/filer, gearbox & rear diff). A Revotec cooling fan, halogen headlights and an electronic contactless ignition have been installed to help ensure the Midget is ready and reliable to tackle motoring as it is today.
EXTERIOR
The exterior paintwork is lovely and bright, which is testament to the rust proofing from new (inc cavity). Door shuts and panel gaps all fit great, which is often not the case with MG’s of this era. A period of time in dry storage has no doubt helped the Midget maintain the beautiful condition in which you see it today.
INTERIOR
The interior is also in excellent condition with no rips or tears to the black vinyl seats. The dashboard and door cards are similarly all free of damage. The hood fits perfectly and is as good as new. A Motalite steering wheel and period MG gear knob, deliver a driving experience when behind that wheel that is sure not to disappoint.
