Introduced in 2002 to celebrate Morgan's class win at Le Mans in 1962. There were 80 special editions produced. 40 4/4's and 40 Plus 8's
All were supplied in Le Mans green with a cream hard top, hood and tonneau were optional, which this example has. The door handle is just on the drivers side as per the famous race car TOK 258
These limited editions benefited from stainless 16" wire wheels, overriders (the first of the later Morgans to have these), unique dashboard and instruments, Le Mans floor mats, Monza fuel cap, individually numbered steering wheel, St Christopher plaque on the dashboard, and perforated leather seat inserts. Each car had a framed certificate
Although racing patterned tyres were fitted when new, regular tyres are now fitted on this example
These cars are extremely rare we occasionally see a 4/4 Le Mans 62 but it has been years since we had a Plus 8 version in our workshops let alone for sale
A fantastic opportunity
Like all our cars, this Morgan will be supplied fully checked over and serviced and with a new MOT. It will also be HPI checked and if sold for use within the UK, will come with a comprehensive warranty.
