1981 Fittipaldi F8/04 DFV F1 Car
A front running and iconic F1 Car in the Masters FIA Series today, the Fittipaldi team was started by World Champion Emerson Fittipaldi and the F8 was driven by future World Champion Keke Rosberg – this particular car was also driven by Chico Serra. Today the car has been maintained to very high standards by CGA Racing and is ready to be used as an extremely competitive F1 car in the Masters series.
Mechanical Overview
The car has been maintained by CGA Race Engineering who have continually maintained the car for the current owner.
Complete with New crack test for 2017 and new fuel cell in 2016.
The car has benefitted from various usual upgrades in recent seasons and can compete in Masters F1 at the front.
The engine is a TMax long stroke/narrow pump 3.0l DFV. TMax is run by Tony Goddard, who was at Nicholson McLaren Engines for 26 years building mainly DFV’s – its a very strong engine, and is approx 50% through its rebuild cycle.
The car has a good spares package including 2x sets new wheels
