Description
For many, the Porsche 964 is the last classic 911. More modern bumpers and updated engines, but still has the upright headlights before they became smoother like the 993. Simply the street-legal racing version of the 964, the RS is extremely popular with enthusiasts. We are therefore pleased to be able to offer this RS in beautiful condition.
Many RS’s were used for what they were designed for – racing on the track during club and track days. This 964 was spared this fate and was also greatly appreciated by the only three owners this car has had. The connoisseur immediately notices a few things: the first owner of course loved the RS, but still wanted something more. That is why he bought a discreet front lip at TechArt, spacers so that the car is wider on the wheels and an exhaust system. The TÜV documents of these parts are available. In any case, the car is very well documented, with the original maintenance booklet with correct stamps and a large stack of invoices. This RS has never lacked for anything in its life.
The otherwise original condition makes the RS an absolute eye-catcher. The red paintwork is the original color and is in beautiful condition. The 964 looks really great. All the sheet metal is in amazing condition, from far or close what a beautiful car! The interior is in a completely matching condition, the great non-adjustable bucket seats have a color scheme that is reminiscent of the seats of the legendary Porsche 959. The car radiates from all sides that the 98,698 kilometers driven have been made with care and love.
Under the bonnet is the 260PS M64/03 engine, which is more powerful in the RS and features a lightweight flywheel mated to the G50/10 gearbox with a shorter ratio and limited slip differential. The 3.6 liter six-cylinder looks like new and not only that: the car is always very well maintained and completely up to date. The car has not been used for racing purposes and that shows the car from all sides.
The Porsche 964 RS was built just over 2,000 times. The supply is therefore small and the cars often have a fairly intensive life behind them. This copy is in exceptionally neat condition and has a number of very nice upgrades. A car for real enthusiasts who love pure cars.
