Volkswagen Kever Very well maintained, great colour combination, fuel injection (1978)

A Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet is typically such a car that makes everyone happy. Especially if the car in question has such a beautiful colour scheme as this one. This Beetle comes in a colour combination consisting of a white hood, yellow and white body and a white interior. It is a timelessly beautiful combination. The car has always been well maintained and is therefore in beautiful condition.
This example was built in 1978 and delivered new in California in the United States. The body has beautiful thin sheet metal that fits well everywhere. The paint has some very light signs of use, but nothing that doesn’t match the age or mileage of the car. The convertible top is in good used condition and fits well everywhere. The hood is easy to operate and has a white tonneau cover in artificial leather that covers the hood for the days when you can drive fully open. The car stands on original steel wheels that are in good condition and fitted with good tires in the correct sizes. The bumpers and exhaust are also in very good condition.
The interior is covered with beautiful anthracite-coloured carpets and white artificial leather. The seats are comfortable and the carpets fit well everywhere. The dashboard is neatly maintained and the controls and instruments all function as they should. The car is also equipped with a period-correct Sharp car radio that is also in good condition and functions as it should. The car is also equipped with an original steering wheel with the Wolfsburg logo and an original gear knob.
The engine is the well-known 1.6 litre four-cylinder boxer, which in this case is equipped with fuel injection. The engine runs beautifully, with that signature Beetle sound, and is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The brakes and chassis are always well maintained and give the Beetle a pleasant driving behaviour. The brakes can be dosed well and the chassis knows how to effortlessly filter all irregularities from the road surface. The car is also equipped with Bosch fuel injection and a catalytic converter.
In short, not only a beautiful Volkswagen Beetle to see but also a pleasure to drive. The Beetle is typically one of those cars that teaches you every mile that you don’t need 300 horsepower to have fun.
