Pump cooled Singer engine with coil ignition and synchromesh 'box replaces the old Meadows, though the one and only coupé in fact had a Triumph unit. Note quoted capacity of the pre-war unit, though any survivor is likely to have acquired one of the two post-war types, the long stroke 12 (1496cc) or the short-stroke SM (1497cc).
