It’s sad to admit that those days will soon be behind us, eclipsed by the sober efficiencies of electrified drivetrains and new tastes for technology-laden SUVs; now, most limousines have become hybrid-electric airport shuttles and luxury Ubers.
Little surprise that this fourth-generation S8 will be the last.
What a shame that is, because its blend of driver appeal, conservative style and impeccable refinement have been developed with the quiet perfection of a corporate superstar enjoying the peak of their career.
