Gulf Coast Motorworks

Gulf Coast Motorworks

Our Company founder, Tony Ierardi, opened the first franchise of the new “DeLorean Motor Company” in 2004, it was the last DeLorean dealer opened before DeLorean’s passing in March of 2005. In 2009 he gained notoriety for restoring the actual Lamborghini Countach used in the Burt Reynolds movie “The Cannonball Run”.  In 2010 he signed a deal with Carroll Shelby and Superformance to be their exclusive dealer for the state of Florida and formed "Gulf Coast Motorworks". The new company name, coloring and theme derive from Tony's passion for vintage Gulf Race Cars from the 60's & 70's as well as our location on the "Gulf Coast" of Florida with firey orange sunsets over the clear blue Gulf water.  Our 16,000 square foot facility is located in South West Florida just north of Naples right on U.S. 41 in Bonita Springs, a 15 minute drive from Fort Myers or 2 hours from Tampa, Miami or Fort Lauderdale. There is a large sales showroom, gift shop, and service / restoration department featuring a built in DynoJet all wheel drive chassis Dyno for testing and tuning of all types of performance cars.
