Does this one count? The marvellous Bentley Mark VI Facel-Metalon Coupé at the Louis Vuitton Classic many years ago. I'm not sure how many they made, only a few, it predates 'Vega' but still has a lot of the hallmarks; lights, grill and painted dash.
Your photo did not show, but I guess you are referring to this one?
Nice car, it does not disgrace the Bentley name, and yes it does point the way to the first Facel Vega coupes from the mid-fifties. Then there were the variations on the earlier Bentley Cresta, built by Facel Metallon but designed by Pininfarina, a bit less attractive I think.

Had a great time with my HK500, It was lethal in the wet with the tyres that were fitted as standard so a modified set of wheels had to be manufactured in order to fit bigger and better tyres, the engine was set up with a more aggressive camshaft and " Tri-power carb " set-with a progressive accelerator linkage that was a bit sharp which caused severe
caused wheel spin at all sorts of speeds. Top- end was about 147mph.

I'd not seen the Cresta before I rather like that too, looks like a Pininfarina take on the Continental.

The Facellia, driving customers away and tarnishing the company’s reputation. Worse, Facel didn’t have deep enough pockets to react quickly to these problems, and Daninos was eventually forced to close Facel’s doors.

I am disposing of a Pathfinder 1/43 scale collection which includes several Facel Vega models. I would be pleased to pass these on to any interested owners of the real thing!
While I was blasting around in the Facel-Vega HK 500 having a load fun ,the OH tried the car but decided it was too much of a handfull for her especially in the rain so to keep her enthusiasm going we bought a "Facellia" 1600cc twin-cam convertable. Knowing that the engine was suspect for reliablity the first job completed was an engine rebuild to our own specification which involved considerable "Dynamometer-Time"to achieve a better motor set-up resulting in trouble free motoring for the rest of the time we owned the car. The photo negative got damaged during a house flood.
