I guess there must be plenty of historic racers and suchlike out there, and some of them still turn out for events. Anyone got any real gems with an interesting story?
I'll kick off with the Valano, a sixties sports coupe that looks like it means business and still showing up at events in fine fettle.
I DON'T get it right every time , better luck next time , rebuilt the car and went for another try with better results !
A few months later , the car rebuilt and ready to race , my young daughter waiting to have a driving lesson. She now has her own Super/Comp Dragster to play with, How time flies !!
While Dad gets more track time in drag-racing in Germany , son Tony builds killer comp/altered dragster with Chevy small- block engine on Ahcohol fuel injected and nitrus -oxide, mean while daughter grows up ,rushes of to the USA and returns with a state of the art Super/Comp Dragster, watchout for some action !!
This beauty won several national championships all over Europe

Talking about VIVA HB's reminded me of a car I did a lot of Dyno-tuning on. It was fitted with a Chevy 327 cubic inch V8 built in the USA and certified Dyno tested to 365bhp unfortunately I was never able to achieve more than 290bhp on my Dyno, maybe yankee horses are bigger ? How would you like to take your test in this Viva ?
