Spotted - Classic Cars At Shows - Not On The Road
Well someone had to do it!
Following the success of the 'Spotted classic cars on the road' post I thought there must be a lot of us who frequent various car shows and get snapping - so here's a few to start.

39 Ford

59 Gogomobil Dart

When did you last see a Bayliss Thomas ?

A sporty Frazer Nash

A Ford Falcon GT-HO replica of Allan Moffat's Bathurst racer.

Bet there are more of these old Standard Vanguards surviving in Australia than in their country of origin.

And finally, for now, an unrestored pre-war Vauxhall Coupe with Australian bodywork.

Have been to a few classic shows over the years, I have taken a couple of photos...
Healey - British Car Show in Vancouver, Canada

Jaguar E-Type - British Car Show in Vancouver, Canada

British Car Show in Vancouver, Canada

Jensen Interceptor - British Car Show in Vancouver, Canada

Sunbeam Tiger - British Car Show in Vancouver, Canada

Nash Metropolitan - British Car Show in Vancouver, Canada

Various Jaguars - British Car Show in Vancouver, Canada

Healey - British Car Show in Vancouver, Canada

Tigers - British Car Show in Vancouver, Canada

Using a tilt shift style of photography, these cars look like toy cars
Well that will do for now, in the meantime I'll dig a few more photos out and post them...

Austin A40 Kingsfold 2011 :-

Wedges - Lingfield 2011 :-

Aha Keef, well done and I spot a Rover 3500S(if the wheeltrim in view is anything to go on, its a P6S one anyway), estate-to the left of the Wedgie Princess's.
From way back in the 90s little and large, Bond minicar, and Gran Torino Brougham 351V8.

Blimey! Well spotted, you really have to zoom in to find that one. So they do exist, and why am I not surprised it is a brown one. Of equal interest is what appears to be a Nash Metropolitan station wagon in redranch's photos from Canada. I have never seen one of those before. I have a strange addiction to unusual station wagons and consequently have added another 'must find one of those' to my wish list.

Some cars spotted a few years ago in the visitors car park of a classic car show in Brussells,

One of my favorite cars ever and that was the first time I see one alive, A very well designed GT reabialble and with resonable running costs (from my point of view)..

swiss humour via rear bumper...

Thanks for those Nuno, great collection of oddities there, but by amazing coincidence there is a web address on the bootlid of that early fifties Cadillac. Redranch posted elsewhere on the forum a list of all the old cars he has had, a lot of them old American classics, and he mentioned that he is currently in Switzerland and without a car. V-8 Woodie asked about any interest in American cars in Switzerland only a few hours ago, and here in your photo is a link to a Swiss club which seems to cater for a lot of American classics.
Spooky!

Here's a few from a Rolls-Royce Owners Club of Australia meeting in the Southern Highlands.

My favourite, an early Ghost tourer.

Another Ghost, and then some Phantoms below.

And a Phantom III which has a V12 engine.
