And now this 6.9 Merc has appeared in Autocar's parking spaces. What with the Lotus Cortina last week, I am beginning to wonder if the modern car journos have seen the light.

Saw this Elan on a tow-rope close to our office this morning. Looked tidy, but as if it had just been dragged out of long-term storage. Hot on its heels was a highly modded Mini. Couldn't see if it was a proper 1275GT.

A Citroen DS for sale at the roadside...

One of the best looking Alfa Bertone (2000) I had seen for a long time. Simply perfect

Sorry I couldn't get a photo of it, but on Saturday I spotted a  "Droop Snoot" Firenza on the outskirts of Bradford. It looked genuine although I only had a brief sight as it went in the opposite direction, but it was on an N registration plate and had a DSG sticker in the 'screen.

Also saw a Veyron later in the day, but that's a sighting for another thread...

Oliver.

The owner of this car is a true member of the cognoscenti - and would have been found behind the wheel of one of the show winners later that same evening - but as a truly understated gent, the Triumph is a daily driver.
