Trying to find a classic car artist

I'm trying to find a picture and the name of the artist. I think  it was published pretty soon after C&SC started the motoring art  articles.

The painting was of (I think) an Alfa Romeo, but it could have been a Bugatti or similar, the painting was as seen  through a window and showed the car leaving a rather fine estate, in the room was a young lady in a state of, erm, déshabillé.

I've been trying to recall the artist's name for a while now, can anyone remember it?

Thanks for any help

I'm still trying to track down this artist, I reckon it would have appeared in  C&SC the late 90s early 2000s. As far as I can recall the painting style would have been similar to Alan Fearnley.

Any pointers would be gratefully received

Perhaps Dexter Brown?

He has painted a few cars in his time and also ladies  deshabille though whether he combined the two I can't say .

HTH.

Cheers, Pewe.
