AMILCAR C8/CS8

Roadster, fixed-head coupé, 4-door saloon.

Neat little straight-eight with five-bearing crank-shaft, dynamotor lighting/starting, magneto ignition, four-speed 'box, and semi-elliptics all round. Looks as if it had lots of potential but in saloon form 58bhp had to haul 27cwt on a 118ins wheelbase chassis. Few survivors, though one was seen in VSCC events a few years ago.
