Spartan rebuild of early Model-18 Ford V8 with reconditioned secondhand engine, shortened 8ft wheelbase, narrow rear track, underslung back end, re-cambered Ford suspension, geared-up steering, and lowered 1932 radiator. You got what you ordered, and on a 3.7 axle ratio a Batten was good for the ton.
