The original DAF model, which lived for nearly 15 years, complete with air-cooled flat-twin engine, and clever but bulky infinitely variable vee-belt drive automatic transmission. Europe's easiest-to-drive car - and nearly Europe's slowest too, at 60mph all out! Transmission, much developed, lived on into mid-eighties.
