DATSUN CHERRY 100A (E10 TYPE)

2-door 4-seater saloon/coupé, 4-door 4-seater saloon/estate.

First ever front-wheel drive Datsun, and it sparked off volume sales in Britain. Simple transverse-mounted engine, all-independent suspension, front discs. Most were saloons, with distinctive sweep-up rear quarter window style. 120A coupés arrived in 1973 and sold for three years with 1171cc engine standard. Later Cherry ranges all stemmed from this original.
