2-door 5-seater coupé/4-door saloon.

Major facelift and new superstructure, on same floorpan and basic suspension/running gear as superseded Type C130, introduced at same time as re-designed Bluebird 810. Lower and sleeker than earlier car, with Mercedes-Benz type radiator grille. In Britain, sold only as conventional saloon, with 2-litre 'six', then 2.4-litre 'six' from mid-1979. Displaced by Type C31 in 1981.
