More of the same, with 'S' having tuned carb engine and 'SS' a fuel-injected but still 2-litre unit; later cars seen with 2.5 PI power, and some with 1300 or 1500 engines - but this was all last-gasp stuff. Indeed, only about half TX production had the cross-rod rear suspension, the rest sticking to Triumph's set-up.
