The most famous air-cooled marque of pre-VW days, now with side-draught cooling and detachable heads. The wooden chassis of pre '29 days has gone, but the full-elliptic springing remains. Synchromesh (there's a four-speeed option with faitly close ratios) and hydraulic brakes. Some lovely coachwork available, especially the open Pirates and Pursuits. Rare in Britain.
