LANCHESTER FOURTEEN/LEDA

Saloon, drophead coupè.

Daimler Conquest with Lanchester grille and four-cylinder antecedent to Conquest 'six'. Torsion-bar ifs, hydromech brakes, and one-shot chassis lubrication. Home market LJ200s are wood framed, the export LJ201 all-steel: both rust. Dropheads appeared in colour ads and at Earls Court, but apparently nowhere else.
