MARCOS 3-LITRE/2½-LITRE/3-LITRE VOLVO
2-seater coupè.
Six-cylinder steel-chassis cars (apart from around 100 early V6s), retaining the Adams shape and the same basic hardware: disc/drum brakes, and standard overdrive. Ford V6 gives 140bhp and over 120mph, but Volvo straight-six more common; 2 1/2-litre Triumph version seldom seen. Revived in eighties in various kit and self-assembly versions.
