MERCEDES-BENZ GROSSER (1938-40)

Saloon, Pullman-limousine, 7-passenger tourer, cabriolet D, cabriolet F.

It's the same engine, but a completely different chassis. In effect, it's a stretched 540K frame (152ins wheelbase), with ifs by radius arms and coil springs and swing axle irs; frame itself is box section (and suitably massive), there are Lockheed hydraulic brakes and schnellgang 'box is standard. Only came blown and was good for around the ton.
